If one orders you or anyone else barefoot or sockfooted, ignore their orders, unless it's for safety reasons. BTW, mind the signage, ALWAYS. Do NOT ignore them under any circumstances.

McDonald's, Burger Kings, KFC, Pathmark, Waldbaum's etc. do not allow barefooting, unless otherwise notified. You will probably not be serviced and mostl likely be forced out of an establishment.
